In time for Tet this year, NOVA is partnering up with Boston Little Saigon to create and launch a line of DIY Tet Kits! Although we may not be able to celebrate in-person this year, we hope to bring a little warmth and festivity to you at the comfort of your homes. These kits have been in preparation for months and we are so excited to finally share them with you!
With our DIY Tet Kits, you'll be able to construct and decorate your very own cay mai (apricot flower tree) for FREE! The cay mai is a significant symbol in Vietnamese culture during Tet, which represents prosperity and well-being for the family, so grab a kit and bring some luck home with you!
On top of that, our DIY Tet Kits each come with a mini "survival" guide, which will talk about the ins-and-outs of Tet traditions! You'll find helpful information such as phrases to say to receive a li xi (red envelope), as well as some notable "dos & don'ts" before Tet! Don't miss out and grab your kit now!
To add a little spice to our kits, we'll be hosting a cay mai contest raffle where you can submit a picture of your DIY Tet Kit created cay mai for a chance to win a HUGE gift card to any local Boston Little Saigon district business of your choosing! Don't miss out on this fun and get your kit!

HOW TO PICK UP A KIT Come by our office at the address above with a mask on and we'll hand you a kit! It's that simple! No charge necessary!
*Please note that kits will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies last so make sure to either reserve a kit now or come on time!
TO RESERVE A KIT If you want to guarantee yourself a kit, skip the line, and earn some extra entries into our raffle, you can reserve a kit today! In order to reserve a kit, you will need to make a donation of any amount to NOVA via our Facebook Donation Page, and sign up on the Google Form.
